I have been reading The Infinite Way by Joel Goldsmith.
The book was recommended by my friend and mentor Joseph Rodrigues.
One interesting idea from the book was the concept of ‘supply’ and how it relates to making money.
“Since money is not supply, what is? Let us digress for a moment and look at the orange tree which is laden with fruit. We know that the oranges do not constitute supply because when these have been eaten, or sold, or given away, a new crop starts at once to grow. The oranges are gone, but the supply remains, because within that tree, there is a law in operation. Call it a law of God or a law of nature.”
No one ever worries about running out of oranges.
The oranges you see on the tree are the result of something occult.
There is an energy operating within the seed that pushes the growth of the tree.
Rudolf Steiner in his book ‘Knowledge of Higher Worlds’, Shared an interesting thought experiment which really highlights this idea.
He invites the reader to imagine a seed growing from the earth.
“This seed, if planted in the ground, will grow into a complex plant…But if this were an artificial seed, an artificial copy so perfect that my eyes could not distinguish it from a real seed, then no forces of earth and light would ever be able to draw forth such a plant from it.”
We can’t 3D print a seed that will grow into a plant.
There is no fooling supply because supply comes from God.
Supply in making money
The same principle exists in the art of money making,
We often look at effects of the supply.
Obessing over:
-
Our investments,
-
Savings,
-
Salaries,
-
Business P&Ls,
As if these transient digits mean anything.
We freak out over what has already been manifested.
Imagine someone going to the grocery store and losing their mind over a shortage of oranges.
Picture them crying hysterically and hyperventilating.
“There’s no more F***ing oranges, it’s all over!”
Security comes and grabs them as they kick and scream to the exit.
That scene would be ridiculous.
The fool would benefit from understanding that oranges are governed by a hidden law.
If there is one seed, there is the potential of billions of oranges saturating the Earth.
What we see with our eyes is the effect, not the cause.
In the realm of money making the cause is your connection to the Universal Mind.
The more attuned you are with this invisible realm, the more opportunities come your way.
The same force that pushes the seed from the ground is the force behind your abundance.
The difference in results comes from the difference in the vessel.
A person with a clear connection to the Universal Mind does not override the downloads with their own conscious mind.
They follow the Tao and allow the flow of life to happen organically.
Those who are stuck in the ‘Mortal Mind’ keep messing up their opportunities because they insist on it happening in a particular way.
The way of supply follows the path of least friction.
This doesn’t mean it will be easy.
But when you go into the silence you will know what the next move is.
